When you log onto MotaWord’s homepage, the first thing that you might notice is its clean, seamless layout with the serenity of a zen garden (okay, we may be tooting our own horn here). But like any garden, people are needed to tend to its care. MotaWord’s team works tirelessly to ensure that the platform runs smoothly for its translators.
When talking about a human translation platform, the translators are just part of the story: our team is made of real people striving to work with other real people ready to give their best translations from all over the globe.
Recently, the MotaWord team had yet another chance to meet with translators from the New York City area in person this month during its September translators happy hour. Several of the linguists remarked how they appreciated a translation company taking the time to get to know its translators.
It is because we take the time to listen to our translators that we know the common hurdles that they face in this industry: deadlines, word counts, and payments. It is by listening to these frustrations that we were able to create name a human translation platform where translators are not bogged by deadlines, the amount that they contribute to projects, or payments (taken care of automatically via PayPal). By not having to worry about these hindrances, translators can focus on utilizing their number one skill: providing their best translation.
We are not just a website. We are real people, just like our translators. We would like to get to know you, whether over email, Skype, Google Hangout, or during our weekly live online demonstrations where you can ask questions about the platform. Better yet, we would love to meet you in person at one of our monthly gatherings!
We are here to get to know our community. Looking forward to collaborating with you on future projects!
